The Hautes-Alpes, a must-see spot and mountain biking paradise in the Alps!
With its generous sun and its multitude of mountain trails, the Hautes-Alpes department is a land of mountain biking apart.
Made up of numerous passes and numerous valleys, the Hautes-Alpes invite mountain bikers to design their mountain biking routes and routes in preserved settings and in an authentic setting.
The more adventurous will ride alpine ridges, trails at an altitude of more than 3000 meters, descend the slopes of an ancient submarine volcano, traverse the high mountain pastures, go roaming in a long crossing (Grande Traversée des Hautes- Alps) and enjoy mountain bike descents up to 1800 meters of negative elevation!
